Science Projects at M² Polymer Technologies

We are starting a new, monthly feature on our website offering free science projects for kids, parents or teachers to use to demonstrate different principals in chemistry. Our first project is a “Recipe for GAAKK.” This involves Elmer’s glue, 40-mule team borax soap and demonstrates the cross-linking of polyvinyl alcohol. The end result is a cup of semi-solid resembling a large booger. The project is a HIT with the kindergarten set! You can down load the instructions from the following link:
